Hope Built on Promise

Elder Josh Walker kicked off Advent by focusing on hope, a strong, unshaken trust in God’s promises. He reminded us that hard times don’t destroy hope; they help it grow. Hope isn’t about what we see now, but what God has promised for the future: a world with no more pain or tears.

To live with hope, Elder Walker encouraged us to walk with others through struggles, find contentment in what we have, hold onto God’s promises, and choose joy today. Advent is about looking forward, knowing our hope is secure because of Jesus.
