Orphan Sunday 2025

Orphan Sunday (also known as Pure Religion Sunday), a special day dedicated to putting faith into action. We began by commissioning Trinity Warden as a missionary from Christ Church, sending her out to serve and share God’s love.

Pastor Chad then reminded us of God’s heart for orphans and vulnerable families, using James 1:27 and Matthew 25 to challenge us to be "doers of the word." A panel with representatives from Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, CASA, Anna’s House Foundation, and CarePortal shared practical ways to serve and support foster families. The message was clear: let’s step up, serve, and show God’s love by helping kids and families in need. Together, we can make a real difference!
