Good Friday is the most somber day on the Christian calendar. It marks Jesus’s death on the cross. On Good Friday, the Lord of Life was put to death and the Church must face the weight of her sin. Together, we’ll reflect on Christ’s suffering and agony as he took our sin upon himself in obedience to the Father’s will.
Though it is a day marked by reflection, grief over sin, and repentance, Good Friday really is good news for us. In his goodness, Christ secured the redemption of fallen humanity through his sacrifice on the cross! The cross points to God’s never-ending love for us, and it is a sign of life in the midst of death.
Join us at Christ Church in Norman, 6:30 PM, Friday, April 18, 2025, at 4600 36th Ave NW for a reflection of Jesus' sacrifice and enduring love.
